One thing to consider is getting a kicker that has both an electric and pull start. I have that on my Suzuki 15hp kicker. Only needed it once, but it was a good thing to have. I could have anchored, unhooked a trolling motor battery, replaced my starter battery and hoped it had enough juice, but didn't need to go through all that on a cold, windy October day.


that is something to think about. I do keep a jump box in my boat though just in case, so i guess its not a huge deal if it has it or not, im not really brand particular, so ill probably buy what seems to be the best deal.
