20 foot 250 to 300
21 foot 300 to 350
22 foot 400
the 20s and 21s can reach 65 with jack plates, i would think 22 would be similar, i am speaking off deep hull type boats like the vexus is, bass boats are faster


Thanks. Living in Fond du Lac before I retired, I heard about Mercury prototyping and testing these high horsepower 4 strokes over 10 years ago but just didn't expect to see them on inland fishing boats like the Vexus. Thought they would be hanging off the back of charter boat in the Keys, halibut charters up in Seward, etc. Boats that need big motors get on plane and travel long distances to off shore fishing.
