Subject: 400 HP Outboards!

I saw in the boats for sale section an add for a new Vexus 22 ft boat with a 400 HP outboard. Now, I am not looking for a new boat and really have not been following the development of these very high horsepower motors on fishing boats but I find that extraordinary.
Anybody have an idea on how fast a boat like that would go? Guy I worked with had a cigarette style speed boat he ran on Lake Winnebago. I think that was a little over 500 HP, inboard and you had to wear seatbelts. His could hit 80mph but it was 28 feet long if I remember correctly.
