Something I would like to add is that both tires and trailers are usually sized close to the size of the rig without allowing much room to grow. If you add a battery, a kicker, trolling motor upgrade, or all the equipment and hundreds of lures we muskie fishemen tend to bring, you may be close to overloading your tires. That is exactly what happened to my last boat, a Lund Pro V 1900. When I checked the weight of the loaded boat axle on a Cat Scale, it was actually just over the combined rating of the tires. I upgraded the wheels and tires, as well as fenders to accomodate the upgrade. I also upgraded the suspension through a local trailer repair shop. And btw, Goodyear Endurance all day.
