3 people casting in a 16 foot boat is tough. Especially with kids. If you are fishing smaller water id consider a tiller, you'll appreciate the extra room with 3 people. My guess is after a year in a 16 with 2 growing boys, you'd be looking to go bigger. Id really shoot for an 18 if you got 3 casting
