Would I prefer a 40hp? Of course!!! Our hp restrictions used to be 9.9hp and I've rented Pontoons that had them and we moved along ok. Plenty of fisherman had to run them for years and did ok. The 20hp has twice the power and the fury1600 only weighs 500 lbs. Not looking to cross the Atlantic here just get off the banks and get to where the fish actually are instead having a football field size zone to work while hoping they are around and willing to bite. Ever try working outside weed edges from the bank? How about working the dropoffs? Underlying channels? We all have at one point knowingly or not. It sucks! I'm ready to be like tom hanks and build a raft from branches lmao
