I own a 2017 Lund 16'4" Lund Fury tiller with a Terova I-Pilot Minn-Kota that uses my 20 HP Honda outboard. For a big guy might I suggest considering the extended seat pedestals. Otherwise you'll be squatting down a bit, bad for back issues. Not sure about winds >> 15 mph. If I had to do it over I'd have have put the 40 HP on it. It planes fine for 1 person but when I have a passenger it slows down to max @ 12 MPH. BTW another consideration I bought the oversized Shoreland Trailer makes launching and loading much easier when alone.
