Thanks for the feedback. I only moved it back to where the bunks still stuck out and the transom of the boat is directly over the rear cross member( about 3"). That didn't even make any difference at all. When I get the boat out of storage I will grease the shaft and also replace the wheel.

You wouldn't think you would have to do this with a brand new boat. It's done this since the day I got it. It's really a pain to push it in the garage myself. I had a 19' Ranger bass boat that pushed easier.
