| Spongy, I have a 16 footer with a Merc. 60 4-stroke. I only have about 30 hours run time, but it has performed flawlessly for me. It tops out in the mid 30’s and will troll just under 2 mph. all day. Once you get into bigger hp motors than this, a kicker motor is your best option for trolling.
Editing message: My wife just read me a recall letter from Mercury, They are replacing my whole motor due to a rocker arm carburater something in my motor. I''ll read it and give details later. The dealer says I''m getting the new 2002 EFI model now. This could be a good thing. | |
