Yes, in picture #3 you can see where the Ranger step broke off the trailer, and the corresponding hole in the trailer in picture #1. In picture #2 you can see where we welded the original Ranger step back on with a reinforcing plate and gusset to help support the additional force generated by adding the EZ Step.

The problem with attaching the EZ step to the original Ranger step is that the Ranger step was never intended to have an extension added to it like that, and that's why it failed so miserably. Like I said in the earlier post, they have since corrected that problem.

I just checked back on their website and found this picture that shows the way they did the new step configuration that simply bypasses the original Ranger step on the winch stand.
