Location: 31 | In late Fall 2019 one of my EZ Steps broke off my 2015 Ranger trailer while my friend was stepping on it, we were fortunate that the only injury was a deeply skinned shin after he slammed into the lower step in the dark. It certainly could have been a lot worse, even tragic.
When I contacted EZ Step about a possible warranty replacement they refused, and I decided to just repair it myself rather than order a whole new system. I noticed the faulty EZ Step design has since been changed on their website, so the newer models should be okay.
