| Yesterday I went to install my Lowrance structure scan LSS-1. I hooked the red to positive, black to negative and the yellow I tied in with my HDS -8 on an accessory switch on the dash. I am getting power to my HDS-8 but nothing to the structure scan(no lights on the box ). Prior to installing in the boat, I checked to structure scan to make sure it worked by temporarily pig tailing it with the red power line and had a graph that showed it was working. I need some help, should the structure scan be on its own switch because it has a higher amp draw? Any help would be appreciated.
