Location: Northern Illinois		Wedges that center the motor and keep it from turning right or left during travel on the trailer are important too. Balance is the key. Whether you use a wedge in the ram or a support that hooks to the trailer, balance the weight of the motor over the transom by tilting it so that its force is focused straight down on the transom.
