For the topper I like the look of Leer brand stuff. As for Bedliner stuff, I like the rubber mats, but also the drop in liner(like duraliner). In my Dakota I had both, liked the combo as that way the sides and bottom of bed were protected. Don't know how much a duraliner type protector would cost though.. As for the Rubber Mats, hit Kmart and/or Walmart for best prices, I think..maybe some auto parts stores also, before ordering from Cabelas as the catalogs will get you for extra shipping (I think) because of the weight. Almost forgot, the wedge type toppers I think cause a little drag(think gas mileage), so I would go with one flush to the cabs roof height. If you keep valuable in the back one with two T-handles for the glass lid, single T-handles can sometimes be popped open kinda easy. Tinted glass, and a slider window by the cab side are both good. Had to transport 2*4's in my truck a couple times, 8' long and had a 6.5' bed, slid them through both sliding windows rather then have the gate down or the topper hatch open..
