Nice find! Willi was a true craftsman and a great story teller. Talked with him many times at the bar at Skyview.
Enjoy your new ride. I'd mount the motor. Never hurts to have a way to get off the water a little quicker in case of bad weather.


I gave in and put the motor on. Thought about picking up a newer 4 stroke but the old Evinrude Light Twin just looks right on there, and starts in 1-2 pulls after remembering to turn the gas on.

Stopped at Rollie and Helens over the weekend and grabbed a couple more trolling rods and loaded them up with 50 pound Big Game mono, and got some offshore magnum boards. Should be ready to rock this weekend, just gotta put together a tackle box and make some trolling leaders.
