I always assumed the 4-stroke provided better gas efficiency than the 2-stroke. At least with the OptiMax it seems to be the opposite. I was looking this up on the Merc site before I saw this question. I was going to post my own. I really don't troll all that much. So is the kicker moter then used primarily as a trolling motor? Thanks.
