Hiya,

This is only going to be a ballpark estimate just from what I could gather on a little research...

The boat weighs 800 pounds on it's own, so adding the motor (250), batteries (assuming 3 @ 50 pounds) a trolling motor (40), 20 gallons of fuel (120) you are looking at a rig that is roughly around 1300 to 1400 pounds... If the boat doesn't have an onboard tank (it was optional some years from what I could gather) that would maybe reduce the fuel weight by half... so you'd be around 1300 at most.

The gear ratio of the motor is 1.85:1 so I would think you are looking at either a 13 pitch or an 11 pitch for your motor. My gut instinct says the 11 is going to be closer overall. With that rig, you might find an 11 pitch 4 blade as a good choice to help try and get the rear of the boat up with some ability to trim the bow...and...you might be able to raise the motor off of the transom a bolt or possibily 2 without any real loss of handling.

The boat will not be a fast boat by any means, but with the right prop, it will handle and perform well for you.

Steve
