| Well guys I did it!. I ended up putting a 90hp Yamaha 4 stroke V-Max SHO on the back. I picked it up this morning. I had it done by Rick and his team at Anchor Marine up in Appleton/Kimberly. I drove it home and then jumped on a plane so I haven't had a chance to get it wet yet. I'm really excited to find out how it is going to move my rebuilt Tuffy Esox LTD/ (formerly a Bass'N Mauraouder) run.
I was surprised how it looked on the back. I was afraid it was going to look big, but it actually looks smaller than my 29 year old 75 hp Mercury which was still running great, but I figured I redid it this far, I may as well get a new motor as well. I did find out that my new boat cover has to be modified for the motor, although it appears smaller.
