I have a Competitor 175 with a 115hp. I've fished out of the Lund Impact 1875 and looked at the Lunds when I was in the market. The boats are very similar but it came down to a few with with the Alumacraft I liked better.
1.) the location of the gas on the alumacraft is in the back corner vs the Lund was in the middle of the boat side
2.) the drainage area near the motor is much smaller on the Alumacraft making a bigger casting deck (more space and my dad has some balance problems)
3.)The side platforms on the Alumacraft are wider. The Alumacraft's are about 14" where the Lund is only about 10". The wider ones are easy to fish 3 people out of.

This will be my 3rd summer with the Competitor. I do love it and it fishes really well. It is wide enough where it handles bigger waves and doesn't rock too much. I have vinyl floors on the bottom and they do get a bit slippery when wet, but they do clean up much easier than the carpet.

In the end, I don't think you can go wrong with either boat...just personal preference on a few details.
