With the 50 tiller I get 28 mph with two guys and loaded up and maybe 30 by myself. I can touch 31 once in a while. Going into or with a big wind will give or take 1 or so. To stay as dry as possible I'm going wide open until it is just too rough. Running wide open is easiest on your shoulder. Its when you need to run half throttle or so to ride bigger waves that you will get a sore shoulder quick.
