Check out superbrightleds.com. You can buy rolls of waterproof rated led lights with 3M sticker backing. I did both undersides of my gunwale, entire length of the boat wired to a waterproof rocker switch I purchased on there. It's a lot more lighting than some of the kits sold to fisherman but for less money. I went with UV blacklight which looks cool but holy #*#* does it attract the bugs. If I did it again I'd go with red for that very reason alone.
