One thing I hadn't added into my equation was oil use, that would be nice not needing to bring those jugs with me to Canada each year.

What is changing oil like on a 4 stroke? How costly is it? What is Winterizing like? I've never winterized any of my motors, I just make sure to run sea foam through them all the time and change my lower unit oil. My uncle worked for West Bend/Chrysler and always told me to never winterize my outboards. I have his original 5 hp West Bend and my 29 year old Merc so I think he was on to something!

What do you think your fuel efficiency is? I know it's not always Apples to Apples, but maybe compare a week in Canada before and after the change, (any trip will do it doesn't have to be Canada),
