The trouble is that I've spent so much on boat, motor, rods reels, etc, At some point I need to draw the line on expenditures and I'm not going to pay >> $100 for a life jacket (hey call me cheap).


That's makes about as much sense as buying a brand new truck and deciding to save $100 by not having seat belts installed... $100 is about the cost of 4 new lures that we probably don't need. Lures won't save your life.
