It sounds like he has narrowed down his preference. He wants either the glass ranger or the aluminum lund. To say that you cannot compare these two is ridiculous. I believe what the OP is asking is what are the benefits of the ranger and what are the benefits of the Lund. Along with the drawbacks of each. What is wrong with the question?
