You can never have too much tire. Durability goes up with load range, so a D is basically a beefier tire than a C. Nobody ever looks at speed ratings, but its worth checking. I've found myself doing close to 90 on tires rated for 60. You're asking for tread separation. In the words of a friend who spent 20 years in the tire business: "dude... #*#*ty tires can kill you. Don't buy cheap tires. Buy cheap beer, cheap clothes, cheap gas, cheap dope, or cheap hookers if you wanna be cheap."
