Well, I don't have the 20 ft, but have had the 18 ft Alaskan for 14 years now. It's a great boat, and have no intention of changing. Handles big water well. Handles skinny water well. Lots of room and capacity. Big bathtub. No deck, but l like being low to the water surface. Better netting and figure eights from my experience. Only negatives are no waterproof storage and the wind can grab it pretty good making boat control extra effort on real windy days. It's been great on Lake of the Woods and Turtle Flambeau. No worries drifting into rocks and stumps and pulling up on beaches and rocks when you want to. I put anti fatigue mats in the bottom, which helps. Easy to clean with a pressure wash.
