I'm thinking seriously about getting a glass boat when I upgrade, possibly next year. Full windshield is required, and I will go 18' or bigger. Right now I'm honing in on Ranger 1850MS Reata's. There seem to be quite a number of them for sale in the midwest, and it looks like an ideal size and layout for my family and my lakes.

It looks like I'll have to look in the 10-to-20 year-old range in order to be in my price range.

Are there common wear / damage / breakdown issues with fiberglass hulls that I will have to watch for?
