Location: West Central Wisconsin | When I was looking to put a stainless prop on my previous Etec rig, the tech at the local Evinrude dealer recommended the Rebel. He felt it would be best for hole shot and mid range cruising. He warned me that I'd lose a little on the top end, but would be able to stay up on plane at lower speeds which helps with fuel efficiencies if you don't feel the need to keep it pinned all the time. I ended up getting rid of that rig before I made the upgrade and it turned out the next rig I bought, came with the Rebel prop already installed. His recommendation was spot on. I have a Recon 985 w/ 200 Etec and I jump out of the water, top out at 53 (with or without a load of musky gear), and stay up on plane at low speeds. Couldn't be happier!
