I have a Lund 1875 impact, 150, and custom galvanized shorelander trailer. I have used the wedge on the 150 and my 9.9 kicker for 1.5 years now and that’s fishin 6 days a week from may until November. I don’t travel far probably at most 40 miles round trip on average. The roughest roads I have are the one I live on and the ones near the lake. I have had 0 problems so far with either motor. I drive slow on the rough roads highway speeds on better shape roads. My dealer told me that the motors are designed to be trailered all the way up in the lock position. He thought the wedge would be fine and a good alternative. While researching what to use I found a whole other thought about what the trailer transmits into the motor using a transom saver. I didn’t have a good location to mount to also so I went with the wedge. I really like the motor mate design and hope they-design one for the 4 strokes. I’ll try them for sure, I like that mounting position. Tight lines ........
