Regarding a 90, I guess yes and no. The tiller 1760 I have is maxed with a 75, and it gets me around. But yes it can be fairly slow out out of the hole when loaded and isn't a rocket. With a normal load and 4 blade prop average top end is about 32 or 33. With a faster 3 blade and a lighter load I've touched 37 but don't count on that.

A correctly propped 90 will work... but if going console I'd max it out or at least go as big as you can afford.
