A buddy of mine just bought one of these boats for a heck of a deal and it came with a 12v 48 lb thrust trolling motor. We know this is not enough, but is 80 lb what most of you run on these boats? He understands that 112 would be better in high winds, but is 80 lb enough for most days?

Terrova with ipilot is the motor in question. 80 lb or 112 lb.
60" shaft long enough for these boats?
