Location: Eastern Ontario		I don't know about the boat cover and mileage but I would think it would help. I know in my truck it's quite a bit better with the tauneau cover on. The boat cover keeps your toys safe from prying eyes when you stop and prevents stuff from blowing out. You would be surprised at what a transport truck going the other way can lift.
