Hiya,

Replace both tires on one axle. Being you are running different sizes, you want the axle to be level. In your case, I would put the new tires on the front axle as at some point you will need to replace the rear set.

In most cases, the rear axle tires seem to wear more because tighter turns here and there while hooked to the towing vehicle tend to side slip on the rear axle, or the tongue of the trailer is just a touch too high. When set up correctly, the two axles should be level with each other and the trailer tongue level or very slightly down while hooked to the tow vehicle. After pulling a 5th wheel for a few years, it is amazing how much an inch of difference in height can make on the wear of the tires.
