how about this question, itll sound dumb but i sold my boat with an awesome Xi5 on it and im not used to minn kota yet, when i deploy the unit how can i tell if power is going to the motor? i only have the remote, no pedal


Make sure the trolling motor is locking into place or it wont connect... I Use mine all the time the motor should have green light u see once it has power and is deployed
