Understood....but to get him going, having some sort of baseline is what would really help. If he has one now, that gets us on the right track.

Otherwise, he could be getting incorrect info. Putting a 19 pitch or 21 pitch could be totally off, just like a 13 or 15 pitch. Without knowing a bit more, it's a crapshoot. Every boat and motor combination is different...even within the same brands and styles. If I ran a Ranger 690 with Suzuki engine, I might find my set-up to be completely different than yours. I'd be faster...

Lets see what he has first...and see if we can go from there.
