I think much of this depends on what you are looking to get out of the engine. By and far, the Yamaha will have much better low end torque due to the fact it is a 2 stroke, so power is made much quicker.
Efficiency-wise, I'd think the Suzuki will take that because it is a 4 stroke.
Maintenance....I'd say either one. With the yamaha, you are running a mixed fuel with oil, but it will have a reservoir to fill if memory serves me correctly, so you are not having to mix at all. No oil changes, and winterizing fairly simple.
With the 4 stroke, you will have oil changes...
I think it is really a toss up on this one... Myself...I'd go with the 2 stroke for the low end umph.
