In my 20'1" nitro z8 my big net sits in the cockpit just fine, my buddys 18'8" skeeter it fit as well but that boat fished much smaller than my 20'. I used to fish a deep v, i dont miss it very much. As far as storage of baits i have two milk crates with rain gutter in the bow center as well as 2 totes that have another 35 slots as well in the back deck.
