Location: Elk River, Minnesota		I have had this happen on lowrance units before as well. What I found was to run dedicated wires to the batteries rather than through the electrical system of the boat. For some reason, that isolated the issue.

I would concur, though, that it most likely is due to a battery that is starting to arrive at the end of it's life cycle...
