Location: Mt. Zion, IL		PM sent. seems like we just need to meet up with how many messages we exchange these days.

I would install a couple runs of 1x1x1/8" aluminum angle or 1x1x1/8" box tubing to the bottom side to beef it up. Use machine screws and self locking hardware and file any sharp edges. A metal supply house should be able to sell you a stick of material for less than 50 bucks.
