I've got a 2001 1750 Fishhawk Crestliner. I like the boat but the 90 hp mercury on it is one cold blooded son of a gun. I would love to have 30k sitting around to get a nicer newer used boat, but that might take awhile. I'm finding some options in re powering that might be a better route for the next 4 to 5 years while I save.
What are your thoughts on the 2012 Optimax? I'm finding them online for about 6k for a 115. I've also seen 2015 115 direct injects for about the same.
Is this a good price? Is this low price a red flag? any one run them or have concerns? Thanks tdp
