The primary difference between WX and MX is the hull design: amount of freeboard/deadrise/interior depth as well as some interior layout aspects. The MX boats put you closer to the water when you're casting; the WX boats provide you a more comfortable, drier ride, especially in rough conditions. The MX boats are casting-oriented, the WX boats offer a superior cockpit layout for trolling. The WX boats also provide bigger, deeper storage compartments.
