I have an older Panther Lift 35LE on my Ranger for my kicker. After winter storage it won't raise the motor. I push the switch at my console and it only makes a sound in the "down" position.
Trouble Shooting I have Done:
-The switch works. I swapped the wires for the up/down and then the "up" worked but again it was swapped so the mount wanted to drop the motor.
-The relay is mounted external, near the battery but I bypassed it with a 12V jumper and the down makes a sound to lower the motor but the "up" doesn't make a sound.

Any advice?
Things I have been told to try and will tonight/soon:
-Crack the valve on the end of the hydraulic cylinder. May have air in it.
-Use the jumper to put 12V directly to the cylinder (both black/red) to see if something in the wiring to the cylinder went bad.

If all of this fails I may need to remove the cylinder and inspect but I am not sure what to look for. Maybe fill/add fluid or take to a shop for repair but wanted to see if I could fix this myself.
Thanks,
Paul
