It's actually not that difficult to do on your own. I replaced all the decks and carpet in my boat 2 seasons ago, and if I can do it......anyone can lol.

I have a 1750 fishhawk for size reference. I think the carpet cost around $300-$350 if I'm not mistaken, plus the various glues I used to hold it down. That may have added another $100 to it.

I would think just redoing a fiberglass boat would be much easier than re-doing the decking and what not. I would say a day (maybe 2 depending on cleaning up the old glue) to tear out the old carpet and clean up the glue, and then another day to install the new carpet (maybe 2).
