Thinking about buying a boat from out of state and bringing it back to minnesota. I was wondering about registering the trailer. I was told for a tandem axle trailer like a ranger you pay a small fee and then 6.7% of the cost of the trailer in top if that. So my question is how do you know what the trailer is worth? What's stopping people from saying it's only worth 1000 bucks? Most of the cost of buying a setup is boat and motor correct?
