I researched the same issue, and I think the only Helix 7s that have networking are the new ones with "G2N" in the name. I just bought a Helix 7 CHIRP SI GPS G2N, which does have networking, which is one of the main reasons why I chose it.

When you go to their site, you can search all fishfinders for type and capability, and if you chose "Helix 7" and "networking" you get these results:

And I don't believe there's an adapter you can get to add networking, either.
