Rod holder choice depends on what you are doing with the holders. Are you going to be trolling with that boat and the big motor? If you are planning to troll the Folbe holders are nice and stand up to musky trolling. If just putting holders to drag suckers then anything that lets you get the rod out of the holder easily will do. I wouldn't be terribly afraid to drill holes, just research how to drill in fiberglass. With that said i hate putting holes in anything too.
