So If you have a Lowrance HDS5 Gen2 Could you get the piece you need to run the app on the tablets could you just leave the 5 at the console and then mount 2 tablets one at bow and one at rear deck and istall the lowrance app on the tablets...Then you could see your SI and DI on the tablets and not have to buy a HDS9 or 12 Gen 3? IS this accurate


I'm not sure about what Lowrance does, but it seems like a bit of a cluster and sacrifice of crucial features built into today's fishing electronics. I know that my Humminbirds are waterproof and are engineered to find fish, tablets are for updating a Facebook status...
