Y not just charge them separate motor battery should get too low....

also if he has a 12v trolling motor why would you have 2 batteries in parrellel that would be giving 24v I dont get it


To charge separate an additional onboard charger would be needed.

Also, 2 batteries wired in parallel is still 12 V. In fact no matter how many batteries you wire in parallel they will always be 12 V.
Putting them in series makes them add the voltage. Parallel just increases the amp hour or longevity he can use the trolling motor.
