Good call on the door width Brad. My old Alumacraft had an 82 or 83 inch beam. I think my Tuffy has an 84 or 85 inch beam so I figured it would fit with no trouble. Didn't account for the 1760 trailer being so wide. When I first came home I thought I was in trouble as at a distance it didn't look like it would fit. Luckily my 9 foot doors give me around 3 inches of space on each fender if I'm centered in the door. Not a lot of wiggle room but it's enough. If I had an 8 foot door I would have been in trouble. A 10-16 foot door would be a lot more convenient!
