Location: Des Plaines, IL		I almost sold my Lowrance last year but after going to 3D imaging, I will absolutely stay with it now. If it were just side and down, I was going to change to Humminbird, but if you can swing the $1700 or more, getting the Lowrance HDS Gen 3 with 3D is great. Huge advantage is I can also use side imaging out much farther even in shallow water, which is so huge for bass fishing for me. Identifying logs and rock structure 100 ft away in 4 ft of water is awesome.
